Meet us
before you come

So the church never grows
bigger than the gospel

A church is not a business, worship is not a product, and believers are not consumers.

We set down
We hold to
We set downThe prosperity gospelThe promise that faith brings wealth and success
We hold to

The gospel of the cross

Not prosperity or success, but Christ crucified and risen.

We set downMan-centered worshipWorship designed to satisfy people
We hold to

God-centered worship

We return to what worship is: an offering to God, not a performance.

We set downA pastor-centered churchA church leaning on one person's authority and charisma
We hold to

A church with Christ as its head

Pastor and members alike stand under the authority of Scripture.

We set downFlashy programsDrawing a crowd with events
We hold to

Word, prayer, fellowship

Small and simple, and faithful to what matters.

We set downPressure to give and titheA culture that measures faith by giving
We hold to

A willing heart

Giving is never pressured or used to measure faith. If you don't give, your place in worship is exactly the same.

A church that welcomes
doubting questions

Bring the questions you were afraid to ask, anonymously. We talk them through together, and the pastor answers.

  1. 01

    Send it anonymously

No name. Write the question exactly as it is.

  2. 02

    Drawn at random

Each Sunday, questions from that week are drawn at random.

  3. 03

    We talk, the pastor answers

The questions drawn are shared and answered from Scripture.

Real questions, sent in anonymously and translated
  • Is universal salvation a valid view?
  • Why are there so many shamans in suits in the church?
  • Is believing in Christ the same as knowing about Christ?
  • Does God love everyone, or only the remnant?
  • Which comes first: faith, or denying myself?
  • With so little knowledge, can I really say I know God?
  • Is there a right amount of prayer?
  • Could someone miss the gospel because I never shared it?
  • Why did God make us out of fallen clay?
  • I only care about the gospel. Do I really need to know every person in the Bible?
  • How would I know if I had fallen away from salvation?
  • Does Israel still offer burnt offerings today?
  • Are being born again and union with Christ the same thing?
  • Is faith accepting both God’s sovereignty and my own responsibility?

Hear the Word first

Come as you are, no pressure

    Just as you are

    Nothing to prepare.

    Nothing expected of you

No pressure to give or to register.

    Fine to come alone

Quietly worship and slip out if you like.

    Sharing lunch

We all share lunch after the service. It’s free.
